Today Jo and I visited Minster Lovell Hall near Witney, despite the pouring torrents of rain we stayed for a few hours!!! To get out of the rain we popped into the church, first we walked around the different areas and both seemed to get uneasy feelings in the same parts of it, when walking up to the alter end we both felt a calm feeling come over us but we discussed the possibility that this may be due to it being much lighter in this area.
Jo took some photo's on her phone which showed some orbs and a shaded area in one of the areas we felt uneasy in. She then placed her recording device in this area and left it there while we continued to explore the different areas.
A while later we decided it was time to brave the rain again to go and find the ruins of the Hall, we were both impressed by the quality of the 'graffitti' which dated back to the early 1800 and was so carefully carved in comparison to today's efforts!! We had many discussions about the layout and how it would have been in past times and how some parts of the ruins did not 'add up' to what we thought should be there (we're sure we should of been architects!!). Unfortunatly the weather was not on our side so we decided against the use of dowsing rods or pendlums (this may have had something to do with the other sightseers that had joined us and what they may of thought about two mad women bearing rods and swinging crystals!! LOL) and thought after being out in the rain for a number of hours it was time to find somewhere dry!!
We are both determined to go back when the weather is a lot brighter or maybe during an evening/night and see what we can find then!!
When we finally returned to good old Bicester and had some nice dry socks and a cup of coffee we listened back to the recording where we heard some intermittent tapping noises which require further investigation. Jo will also be emailing me some photo's which we will post asap.
So watch this space!!!!
